The Foreign Investment Act is an Act of the National People’s Congress of China passed in 2019, mandating that the administrative state implements a high level of international investment liberalization and facilitation. The Act recommends the creation of comprehensive administrative systems to attract foreign investment, in particular a stable, transparent, and predictable environment for investors.
